Welcome to the estate or randomness and craziness. Do you like icing? That was even randomer than I thought! See that sight over there? That is the leaning tower of randomness, and over there is the statue of George Crazybody. Thank you very much for wasting your time reading this when you could be doing something useful like cleaning your room(feel free to use this as your excuse) Look over there, a bagel! And my dear friend Genevive! How is your sickly auntie, Genevive? Socks, socks, socks. Why does she have such an obsession with socks? Oh dear, I forgot the name of this estate: The Estate of Randomness and Crazyness! So, the next time your mom or dad or legal guardian or whatever asks you where you've been, tell them that you have been to The Estate of Randomness and Crazyness. farewell, to you all!AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT FIDDLES

Blogger journal.

Hello! Turning this blog into a semi-private diary. NO personal information, just what happens. Call me Rowanstorm. Alright. Here goes nothing.

Friday, April 29th, 2011:
Today I went on an herb walk with my nutrition class.I found some really cool herbs, and some poison ivy*gasp* and we went all the way to the creek! Mia and Toni's dog loved the water! On the way back we played I Spy, and a game I think is title "because" because a group of people start a story from the end and work their way to the beginning explaining why each sentence was. Example: "Because the dog wanted dinner," and the dog wanted dinner BECAUSE, "because he hadn't eaten since he had made his way to the moon in a FLYING ONION RING!"
We did a story about an angry cat,  an evil squirrel named Farmer Squirrel, a baby chipmunk, a baby squirrel, a wise old chipmunk, an evil platypus, and a powerful witch.
Also, when we were at the creek, me, Miranda, Mia, and Stephen were having twig wars. IT WAS AWESOMESAUCEOMEFIDDLEDEEDAWESOME!

Thank you, Cleveland, and Good Night!:D:D:D *those are smiley faces by the way, just side-ways!*
.I will put up a picture of my class as soon as my mom e-mails it to me! :D

My Favorite Movies

I love to watch movies! I love the popcorn and the back room where we watch it and the movie itself! Here are summaries and pictures of some of the movies i love.
The Lion King
The Lion King is about a lion cub named Simba who lives with his father, the king, Mufasa, his mother Sarabi, and his best friend Nala. Simba runs away after a stampede of wildebeests kills his father and he takes the blame. He meets Timon and Pumbaa, who he lives with for a time. Several years later he finally meets Nala again. The two agree to set out and reclaim his Kingdom......

Hotel For Dogs
Hotel  for Dogs is about two orphans (Bruce and Andi) who's foster parents won't let them have a dog. They hide a stray dog named Friday from the foster parents, and finally stumble upon an abandoned hotel where two other stray dogs are hiding. They begin to care for the dogs in secret, and slowly make friends who help them with the dogs. They begin to find stray dogs hurt or lost, and  begin to take care of them. Bruce invents  machines to help the dogs live in the hotel. Then, disaster strikes, and it will take Bruce, Andi, and Ftriday's brains to save the dogs.

Special Herbs

Borage drawing
Borage a plant good for cats with kittens
and helpful for bringing down fevers.  annual

These plants are herbs i,m planning to plant at my house. I learned about them from the Warrior Clans a series of books by Erin Hunter. I've decided to describe the use of every plant as well as its name.
Dock  leaves can be chewed into a pulp for scratches. Perennial.

Catmint a plant good for coughing. Perennial

The juice of Chervil can be chewed up and applied to infected wounds, and chewing the roots helps with stomachache.
The roots of Comfrey  can chewed into a poultice for broken bones or just to sooth wounds. Annual.

Feverfew is good for people with the fever or chills. It can be eaten to cool down body temperatures.Perennial.

Burdock Root a plant good for infected wounds.Perennial

Mysterious flowers

Last year, I went to an event at my old school where they created a garden across the street. Here are some of the pictures and videos I took.
It was a lot of work to get all the plants in the ground and ready!
We had to clear a bare spot on the ground, and then dig a hole, and then put the flower in!
Press play to watch this video of my friends planting flowers, plants, etc. etc.

Mysterious flowers: Can anyone tell me what these are?
I like to take pictures of interesting things, and who ever can tell me what these plants are is really interesting!
Yarrow, I think. It looks really pretty when its alive, but it gets REALLY
ugly when it wilts and gets all zombie-like!

I don't exactly what this is, but I think its some kind of tree-thing.

Crazy hartfalm cats 2

My cats do crazy things all the time! Koneko (right) is particularly fond of drinking out of the dog's water bowl ( below right) and trying to eat stuff on the kitchen counter.( below left ) Kobota, (below right) likes to get the sheets all hairy!

Chicken training 1

Me and my friend try to train my chickens so that they don't run away from you. One of the calmest chickens is Little Hawk (left). He is being trained to sit on our shoulders. Another good practice chicken is named Eagle. She was one of the first chickens I ever trained. One of my other friends (below left) is good at training Echo, who was a chick we found away from his mother. The training program was mostly last year, but I'm going to start it up again in the spring.

My friend Evy helped a lot with training Echo.

The trip from Pennsylvania to North Carolina

Every year, I go to my grandfather's house for the fourth of July with my family. Here are some of the pictures I took on the way too North Carolina in the summer of 2010:   Through the car window.

Berries that I found when we stopped for lunch.

Haystacks. My dad took a walk in this field while we ate.

Crazy hartfalm cats 1

My cats are named Koshka (right), Koneko and Kobota (left). Last year, Koshka caught a dragonfly and ate it, and Kobota  got so fat she looked like a beach ball (actually she still looks like that) ! Koshka would make his ancestors, the Panthera leo, look like cute, cuddly kitties!
Kobota like to strangle people too, but Koneko is as sweet as pie (below left).

The National Zoo

Here is a picture of me (right) at the National Zoo in Washington DC.  It's the only picture that I didn't take on this page.

A keel-billed toucan (left) is at the zoo bird house. There is even a baby kiwi there, though we did not see it.

A giant hermit crab (above) dances for joy at the sight of food.

An  giant pacific octopus (left) takes its morning meal.

A tiger (right) stops after having a drink at the pool.
All these animals live at the National Zoo in Washington D.C. Next time you go, remember to bring a camera!
