Mysterious flowers

Last year, I went to an event at my old school where they created a garden across the street. Here are some of the pictures and videos I took.
It was a lot of work to get all the plants in the ground and ready!
We had to clear a bare spot on the ground, and then dig a hole, and then put the flower in!
Press play to watch this video of my friends planting flowers, plants, etc. etc.

Mysterious flowers: Can anyone tell me what these are?
I like to take pictures of interesting things, and who ever can tell me what these plants are is really interesting!
Yarrow, I think. It looks really pretty when its alive, but it gets REALLY
ugly when it wilts and gets all zombie-like!

I don't exactly what this is, but I think its some kind of tree-thing.

  1. Your mystery flowers are cosmos. I often plant them in my garden because they are pretty, easy to grow, and they make good cut flowers. They last a long time in water in a vase. You might try growing some in your own garden next spring.
